I make small batch, bean to bar chocolate, here in my kitchen, on the edge of the Forest in Sussex.
Each batch takes about 3-4 days. From conching & refining the best, Organic cacao beans I can source, in a small stone grinder, to pouring into beautiful moulds. Then packaging it. All by hand.
Whenever I make a new batch, I do a post on Instagram. There will be a link to this online shop where you can buy the bars and I'll post them out to you. I wish there was a way I could get postage costs down, but I can't. It makes sense to buy a couple, if you know you like it :)
When I have workshops and events coming up, I'll be selling tickets or have I will put a link on this page. Thank you for being here <3
Hand Crafted, Bean to bar chocolate. Made with carefully sourced, Organic, un roasted beans. Stone ground for up to 30 hours, sweetened with coconut sugar. Often laced with medicinal herbs, fruits, spices and exquisite organic oils.
Chocolate to savour, share, delight in.
I teach chocolate and elixir workshops . I look forward to hearing from you if you would like to book a one-on one or group class.
I will post about up coming events on my Instagram account and the blog page.
“Having battled an eating disorder in my teens I’m sceptical of so called ‘clean eating’. I actively avoid anything that makes me anxious about food and always opt for trusting my bodies cravings and whims clean or not. Working with Laura was fantastic. She is so hugely knowledgable about food and the ways in which we can creatively embrace health and nutrition. For me Laura is a true and healing inspiration with all of the creativity and less of the slightly punishing raw movement dogma. The first chocolate workshop I attended in a really lo fi pub in London’s east end (before it got quite so hip) was a sheer delight. Laura explained the history and nutritional benefits of raw chocolate whilst someone span some excellent tunes and we proceeded to make beautiful mouthwatering heart shaped chocolates for me to devour on the routemaster back to London bridge. Something about Laura’s practice contains an element of alchemy and magic. She imbues her attitude to food with the creative flair in which she dresses and runs a Sunday morning radio show. (Seriously she has a wardrobe I would KILL for and a record collection that rivals all my ex boyfriends collections put together...... and don’t even get me started on her skin which is living proof of her commitment to seriously glow in life). Theres something about her attitude that I love. Its creative and rich (just like her chocolate). Theres a sense of permission and delight. Its not about abstaining, its about luxuriating in exotic Peruvian ingredients and experimenting with the sensuality of food. Inspired by Laura I decided to throw a chocolate party that Laura hosted round my tiny south London flat. All my guests were super inspired and we even made a giant chocolate cherry ganache (that i still salivate at the thought of). Laura is now a seriously busy mother of two adorable twin boys and I can tell you she is living testament to what she’s passionate about. Her lifestyle is not one of a bored affluent 20 something who follows intagram tweets about vegan cheesecake for the sake of losing a few pounds. No, Laura is someone who is committed to embracing nutrition as part of a holistic lifestyle (sorry I tried really hard not to use the word lifestyle). She seeks the exotic and luxuriousness in simplicity and seeks to embrace nature without some of the rubbish that I hear so many fad dieters spouting. I will continue to delight at Laura’s social media posts as for me she injects the creativity into health without the guilt.”
“I attended a raw chocolate workshop with Coxeter’s Fayre in London in 2011 and it seriously changed my life! I had no idea what I was getting myself in for but loved chocolate so went along. Little did I realise how my world was about to change. I had never heard of “raw chocolate” but Laura Coxeter was such a living, breathing example of health and deep beauty (inside and out), I was completely hooked on the idea of chocolate as not just a delicious treat, but also a health food. Laura was approachable and made me instantly convinced that I could do it! I walked straight out of the workshop into a health food shop and bought my own ingredients to use at home. In the intervening six years I have continued to make raw chocolate at home regularly and it is now one of my staple foods. Sweetened only with raw agave syrup it really has turned out to be a health food for me, helping me to keep off the 50 pounds I lost but never feel deprived. I have gradually refined my techniques over the years but always starting from Laura’s inspiring guidance. I recommend Laura’s workshops to anyone who considers themselves to be a chocolate connoisseur, as this will take their chocolate experience to a whole different level and is far more satisfying than simply buying more and more ridiculously expensive boutique chocolate as it escalates in the shops. Without Laura’s workshop I would never have considered making my own chocolate, but now I will never go back to buying it! Thank you!”
